As a longtime resident of Oklahoma City, I have been excited to see the renewed interest in some of OKC's historical areas. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, recreational areas, hair salons... these are all nice improvements to see in any district, however, what I love is retail.

Located next to Sara Sara Cupcakes & Iguana Lounge on NW 9th Street, BD Home recently opened in the Automobile Alley area.

They carry furniture and accessories from a bunch of cool modern designers like Knoll, 18 Karat, Voluspa, Herman Miller, Innermost, and Chilewich (just to name a few...).

I have been stopping by some great stores in OKC today. Maybe it's the weather, but I have encountered some sweet owners and merchandise.

It was my first time to visit Consortium on N. Western. They had a great selection of tops and jeans, not to mention a fab display of Belstaff Motorcycle jackets.

I also meandered down to Main Street in Bethany, making visits to Cedarburg Square (on N College), Cobblestone, and Mariposa. Good thing I parked and walked to each of these stores, it will help me burn off my mid-morning snack: the divine Thumbprint cookies from Clark's Pastries (also on Main Street).

Look forward to seeing some new additions to Allioppe as I make my way to every store in OKC. Yes, this is a threat.
